I know Michael has already checked out Mk.gee. But, I think his stuff worth doing a deep dive on for everyone here on GuitarGate. His innovation - through mixing his influences until they are unrecognizable as anything other than Mk.gee - is a perfect case study for anyone like me who is trying to find "their sound" on the instrument. I hope everyone who checks this out gets something from it! I know you will! Keep it in the hands and thank you Michael for this platform and this community.

I love everything about this song, Mississippi Queen you know what I mean!πͺ
Cater Arrington playing Bonnie Raitt's "I Can't Make You Love Me." Carter is a great human and a great guitarist! Look for him on YouTube.
Danny Gatton playing "Sleepwalk." Take notes folks. This man can make the Tele cry.
Elvis Costello & The Roots playing "Wise Up Ghost" from the album of the same name. Great song. Fantastic album. This is as much a Picasso-esque soundscape as it is a song in cargo pants...pockets everywhere. Good stuff!
Little Feat performing "Spanish Moon" in 1977 with the legendary Tower Of Power horns. I believe this is the version is on the Waiting For Columbus album. What a great band! So many great songs by this band. Just bursting with talent at all points.
βThe journey is the prizeβ, as promised! This track is Spring Water by a band called KVHW, who am be Steve Kimock, Bobby Vega, Alan Hertz, and Ray White.
Suggest taking a long cool sip from that deep deep pocket that Alan and Bobby are laying down, let Rayβs words wash over you, and after Steveβs solo bubbles up from nothing you just may find yourself floating in some Spring Water.
(PS: music starts around :20 sec in)
Thank you for all you do! βοΈβ€οΈπ€
A classic performed by two of the best (not to mention a wicked band).
Gary Moore not Fary Moore damn calluses lol
Michael, new member and teleport owner here, was trying to figure a video to send you but seems you reviewed most of my favorite SRV, Phillip Sayce, Fary Moore etc. So here is a live concert from a group called Nightwish, lead singer Flor, was opera trained singer, it is a very sweeping arrangement seems to change up 3 times gives me a Trans Siberian Orchestra vibe with some metal kicked in. Around 8:30 into the video you can start to see the opera training coming out I. Florβs voice. Enjoy.
Medium Build - J&L
This song perfectly captures the complicated nature of some of our relationships with our parents. Beautiful songwriting and phrasing with a stunning bridge. This guy is the real deal.
Steve Miller ... a monster. Jet Airliner is a song we all know, but, the older I get ... this stripped down version hits me in the feels more and more. I can't find a BETTER recording on the YT's so ... (bent some rules). Have a listen friends.
Be well! and Merry Christmas!
React to god rest ye marry gentleman by the Jason lovins band
This band is amazing and this live version is even better than the album. Please check this out !
Wunderhorse is one of my favourite bands of the last few years. They are bringing back the grunge era vibes with amazing vocals and guitars.
