Members Onlyhi, I had fun doing this video. cool track BTW. this is the first video I'm uploading because I chickened out the other times ahah. I hope you'll watch it whole. thanks
Thanks to Nicolai Planck for the tip on OpenShot! I probably spent more time figuring out this fun new tool doing video editing than I did working on the actual guitar playing... (and it shows) ha. I have been groovin' to the beat with a looper pedal too, but the video capture is a whole other animal. I am just beginning Level 3 so I feel pretty good about fiddling around the pentatonic notes/scales in all 5 shapes, ....getting into arpeggios and full scales soon.
Here is my second try at playing reggae. I haven't a clue if I am doing it right, but I tossed in a little charlie brown to make my youngest giggle a little, which worked. So, whether or not it is reggae, I know it made at least one person smile. :)
I needed a couple of tries to get familiar with the chord changes, here is the best try so far. It was a lot of fun to jam to this, I will probably record some more later today and upload a second version. Thanks for the nice jam track and have fun everyone!
Recorded another video with the actual backing track. My wife took the kids out for a bit. Enjoy!
I believe GuitarGate lesson 1 heavily recommends having a dedicated practice space. I have that space. Also trying to get my son to eat his snack. Remade the backing track with my βone man bandβ pedalboard. Using the same vocal effects pedal Rick from Goose uses. Thank you Michael and everyone in the community. Enjoy
